Death Pong
What is Death Pong?
Death Pong is a free PC 2D game based on Pong, except much more awesome. It's like what Carmageddon is compared to an average racing game. Power-ups, upgrades, blood, black humor, you name it, it all has it!
It has what every Pong game should have – two paddles and a ball. You lose the ball, your opponent scores. But that would be BORING, wouldn't it? So we took that and added badass graphics, money, power-ups and upgrades which you can collect in crates or buy for money, and best of all! People! Ordinary civilians that are walking around the middle part of the game arena and you can get points and/or money for killing them! It's not that simple, tho'…
There are 4 game modes:
- Classic Pong – Just like the Pong you know, just it's not so boring, since you still have money, power-ups and upgrades.
- Death Pong – Now this is what it's all about! People of different colors walk in the middle ground (blue and yellow – the colors of the two players) and you get points and money for killing your opponent's people! You lose points for killing your own, of course. Also, power-ups and upgrades.
- Blood Bath – Just like Death Pong, only there's an endless number of people so you can kill as many as you like! You don't get points for them, tho', just money. Did I mention power-ups and upgrades?
- Massacre – This is where the classical Pong gameplay isn't as important and it's all about killing people! They don't have colors in this mode so anyone can kill any and just gain points and money! Also, you don't lose points for losing a ball (you lose people and/or money instead). And yes, of COURSE there are power-ups and upgrades!
The game is still in development, but the programming is going swiftly, graphics are almost done and the music is being worked on, so check back soon! Also, if you'd like to speed up the development, we're looking for help!
